What greater thing is there for two human souls
than to feel that they are joined for life –
to strengthen each other in all labor,
to rest on each other in all sorrow,
to minister to each other in all pain,
to be one with each other in silent unspeakable memories
at the moment of the last parting.

Polonius Press is a small publisher located in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia. The principals are
Brenda Joyner and Rick Bodson, cancer survivors dedicated to community service on several fronts.

Our first book,
Chemo Sabe, was authored by Brenda to capture and share the experiences of supporting a person
going through a chemotherapy and radiation treatment. It deals in data, tackling cancer as a project to be managed and
exercising as much control as possible over what is a very scary and emotional time in your life.
Chemo Sabe is intended
to equip the cancer patient's Personal Advocate (be it a single person or a team) with tips, techniques and suggestions
to get through the weeks and months of chemo and radiation. Se

Our second effort,
Isle of Wight 1708-2007, was to manage the re-publication of Col. E. M. Morrison's 1907 brief history
of our County. With an update of the last 100 years authored by Doris Gwaltney, the republication is a Jamestown 2007
project of the Isle of Wight Branch of APVA Preservation Virginia.
